This page explains, in plain English, what information we collect on this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Who We Are

Thrive Technology Solutions ("Thrive," "we," "us") is a managed IT services provider in Orange County, California. This policy covers our website, thriveoc.com. Questions? Email us at Support@thriveoc.com.

What We Collect

Contact form. When you send us a message, we collect your name, company, email address, phone number (optional), and your message. To protect the form from spam, we also record your IP address and the time you submitted it.

Bot-setup wizards. Our setup wizards are protected by an access code and are used by our clients. They collect the contact details and business setup answers you enter, such as names, email addresses, mailbox and folder preferences, and calendar and briefing preferences. While you work, your answers are saved only in your own browser (local storage) until you send them to us or clear them. A cookie keeps the access code unlocked on that device for 30 days.

Server logs. Like most websites, our web host and our security firewall (Sucuri) keep basic logs, such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited.

Anonymous visit counts. To see which pages are useful, our own website counts visits. For each page view it records the date, the page, and the name of the website that sent you here (for example, google.com), if any. It does not use cookies, does not store your IP address, and does not identify you. To count visitors without double-counting, it makes a short scrambled code from your connection and browser using a secret that changes every day and is then thrown away, so the code can't be traced back to you or linked from one day to the next. These counts stay on our own web host. We don't use Google Analytics or any other outside tracking service, and we never sell or share this data. If your browser sends a "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control" signal, we don't count your visit at all. We keep these counts for up to 13 months.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

How We Use It

We use your information to reply to your inquiries, to set up and deliver the services our clients request, and to protect this site from spam and abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Who We Share It With

We share information only with service providers that help us run this website and our business: website hosting (GoDaddy), our website firewall (Sucuri), and email (Microsoft 365). We may also share information when the law requires it.

How Long We Keep It

We keep your information as long as we need it to respond to you and provide our services. After that, we delete it in the normal course of business.

Your Choices and California Rights

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we have about you by emailing Support@thriveoc.com. We won't treat you differently for making a request.

Do Not Track. Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. We don't track visitors across other websites, and when your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, our visit counter skips your visit.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access codes on our setup wizards, and spam protection on our forms. No method of sending or storing data is 100% secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top of this page.
